She giggled and flew down the ice as if it were a runway and then ended up in a snowbank at the end. She laughed and pulled herself from the snow, shaking her ivory pelt to rid it of the white powder.

He looked at her with emotionless orbs. He looked at Albern not really taking her in at the moment. Huh? he asked him with a slight snap in his voice. He wasn't a wolf to play games with and now he was starting to in his mind.

O really. he said. Another part of fighting he snarled at him. Is to protect the ones you love, not like what I did. he stepped back and turned his back to him. Now he was the one letting his early past escape his mind set and he wasn't ready to tell anyone.
